Alvin’s Story
I have been working in Referral Marketing for the past 15 years. I started in the UK and now am based teaching Referral Marketing Programs here in Australia. Over the years I have helped hundreds of Entrepreneurs and Business Owners understand the power of what is Relational development and how it can bring business via Referrals.
The turning point for me, understanding the power of Referrals was back in 2003 when a good associate of mine referred me into a local Health Shop. I was in the Contract Packing business back then and specialised in Natural Cosmetic Manufacturing. He told me that the Health Shop owner was looking for some more products and that he suggested my company. Well I won this business but its what happened after which was so impactful. This single referral turned into a chain of events which saw me distribute my range through 860 Health Food Shops throughout the UK. It also opened many more doors for me and without doubt was a major contributor into the success of my business. I continued to learn more about referral marketing and with the help of BNI, I continued to expand throughout the UK and then Europe.
Since then I have learning and practicing Referral Marketing, teaching and consulting in this space. Asentiv is New to Australia.
